MOST IMPORTANT LIFE QUESTIONS
Here are some of the most important life questions as I see it:
Why am I here in this present life? What is the real meaning of life? Is there anything more than just going about the mundane everyday activities with diversions of various kinds and doing the same things over and over and over again until finally we get old and die? How can I find a sense of purpose? Is there life or existence of any kind after the change called death? If so, how should I live now in view of that possibility? Do my religious beliefs and/or worldview make my life substantially better and also make me a better person to be around as I associate with other people?
How do you personally choose to deal with these questions? How long has it been since you've given any of them serious consideration? Are you trying to delay thinking about them perhaps even on a subconscious level? Do you keep yourself endlessly busy and surrounded with a lot of noise so that you don't have time to sit down and carefully face yourself?
I invite you to read LOOK BENEATH THE SURFACE which is on the link below:

Tom,
Thank you for this message.I have asked some of those questions myself. One of my questions is..Just how close to God am I really?

“The soul seeks God with its whole being. Because it is desperate to be whole, the soul is God-smitten and God-crazy and God-obsessed. My mind may be obsessed with idols; my will may be enslaved to habits; my body may be consumed with appetites. But my soul will never find rest until it rests in God.”― John Ortberg, Soul Keeping: Caring For the Most Important Part of You
