DECLARE GOD'S WORD

Job 22:26-28 (New King James Version)
26 For then you will have your delight in the Almighty,
And lift up your face to God.
27 You will make your prayer to Him,
He will hear you,
And you will pay your vows.
28 You will also declare a thing,
And it will be established for you;
So light will shine on your ways.
2 Corinthians 4:13 (Amplified Bible)
13 Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak.

We need to DECLARE THE WORD OF GOD far more than we do and then just believe in a powerful Creator God Who works all things according to His will. We can't force the hand of God but we can choose to believe in His will and in His power to carry it out. We are privileged to delight in Him, and unite our minds with His will.
I recognize that there are many mysteries about prayer, answers to prayer and the seeming lack of them, etc. but I believe it is always well to pray in harmony with the revealed will of God and then trust Him for results that come according to His ultimate plans that are simply beyond our ability to understand. We know that it is His will for all people to be saved, for there to be peace and joy on this earth, and everything else that is contained in the Good News of the Kingdom of God. DECLARE the will [the Word] of God in every possible way that the Holy Spirit lays upon your heart. This opens the door for the mighty power of God to work in ways that often far exceed our wildest imagination. Praying in harmony with the clearly revealed will of God brings us more into harmony with His will.
For example, you might walk in the area where you live [street, apartment complex, neighborhood] and DECLARE the peace of God [either silently or out loud] as you walk. DECLARE God's peace and and a sense of His love for all who live or visit there. Affirm the reality of the Kingdom of God in that area. Put a hedge around the property or neighborhood. You could have such "declaring" walks through public places such as city streets or malls. Perhaps you could "target" troubled places and walk through as a messenger of God's peace and love by simply agreeing with God's will for all people in that location. Declare God's peace and Divine order regarding troubling events in the news. We don't have to idly sit by and watch the world "go to hell in a hand basket." We need to exercise our God given dominion as citizens of His Kingdom as we pray for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We say these words often as a religious formality without really ascertaining their meaning.
This faith-filled, affirmative type of prayer is something very practical that you could practice everyday. Why not start doing it now? It will cost you nothing but a little time and will greatly enhance your walk with God and your trust in His will for yourself and all others.
Exodus 14:14 (Amplified Bible)
14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
