JUSTICE WILL BE RENDERED

Psalm 49:16-17 Amplified Bible (AMP)
16 Be not afraid when [an ungodly] one is made rich, when the wealth and glory of his house are increased; 17 For when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not descend after him.
It never ceases to amaze me as to how timely the Bible is as it addresses every aspect of life in very clear terms. Today we witness the fulfillment of this verse possibly more than ever before. Many live in opulence while millions are without even what are considered common necessities such as food, shelter, and clothing. We look with dismay on this but we need to keep in mind that in the end, either here or hereafter, justice will be rendered for the wheels of God's justice grind exceedingly fine. While it is true that the wealthy may be living in luxury in terms of material things they are often very poor indeed in spiritual riches which are the only riches we can take with us when we leave this present life for the next phase of our journey.
I often think of the legacy of love and peace that godly folks that I've known have left for me and many others. Let's all be among those who will leave this present world just a little better because we were here and lived in close fellowship with God. May these words from the Apostle John quoted below both challenge and inspire us to live even better wherever we can. There are always ways that we can grow and improve, especially in our relationships with others.
Revelation 14:13 New Living Translation (NLT)
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”
