THE GREATEST GIFT Remember, the greatest gift is not found in a store nor under a tree, but in the hearts of true friends. -- Cindy Lew
What could each of us do to be a true friend to others, especially those who may differ from us in significant ways? Could we be more helpful and understanding? Could we be kinder and gentler? Could we try to realize how much each one of us needs unconditional love and acceptance in life and extend this to others in every possible way?
People don't usually want a lot of advice when they are having a rough time. They don't want to be talked down to, judged, manipulated, or preached to. Indeed, they just want someone to be faithful in both good and bad times.
Are you willing to be such a friend?
